The sun shone like it did yesterday. Sometimes its rays fill me with lightness. I've lived on it for 23 years and a little more now.How come I never really took a moment to think of its wonder. It stays there like its destined to shine forever. The sun that shines on everything - living and non-living without any partiality, on the rich and the poor, the good and the bad never fail to show up when the day dawns. Sometimes a bright day is all we can ask for when we wake up from our slumber and its there for free to take us to the day that's awaiting us.
It stays there where it's placed to give life to the plants, flowers, trees and everything under it. This light giving force that never seem to stop shining till its time for the night to set in, illuminates the world with its brightness. It doesn't retire till the night steps in so that we could keep aside the chores of the day and sleep for a while. Even then, it shines somewhere in another part of the world. The sam e sun that shone yesterday in all its brightness, is here again today to light our day and it would still not forget to shine tomorrow.
Rest we must. And the night creeps in giving us time to rest our little thoughts, close our eyes and sleep. But if you think the night is all darkness then you are wrong. For the moment the sun gives way to the entry of the night, there is still a beautiful thing that we can anticipate. Infact, not one but two and even more. If there's anything romantic you want to see, why, spend a moment under the beaming moon. Its soft glow fills the entire place with a sense of peacefulness. There is nothing more serenading than the glow of the moon. It knows just when to come out and even when it's not in its full form, the moon still looks as beautiful as ever. And there's more to the night. The cluster of stars fills the sky in all its brightness. There's no replacement to this. They colour the sky in their own wonderful way. These small tiny sh ining things that twinkle as we see it from where our two feet are placed are beautiful creations. Sometimes when a star falls down you feel something you wish might just come true. Maybe it's true. Maybe not. But it certainly gives a feeling of goodness. People thank their lucky stars when something really amazing happens. Perhaps the stars are just not enough reason for the good that happens. But these lights that control our day and night are uniquely beautiful in their own way.
The sun, moon and stars - the lights that shine on us every passing day, they are with us everyday, illuminating our lives and our days. These lights that set apart day and night, and yet giving us light in their own time just when we need them. Their rays, glows and sparkles are going to shine forever for humanity, for our world. What beautifully designed amazing creations. That there could be lights of all kinds to rule our day and night.
In my twenties ~ that wavy age where times se em hardest, yet very adventurous too. You are not too young niether old. Deciding phases, getting serious kind of phase where Life brings you a lot of tides to ride. But i love every moment of it. I love the lovely times i can count on, even the ugliest of situations. They make me a better person. With dreams in my pocket, seeing them taking buds am gonna do all i can let them take their flight. Someday i hope to see them flowered and be happy enough that for once i did something worth celebrating. And that's gonna be Life. M celebrating every moment of it. I live in India, in its Capital City. I write for a weekly column for a Newspaper. I love doing it all. I love writing. I love my home town. Its a hilly place. And i wish to make a difference in my life's journey.
